Volatility, Theme and Budget
Volatility is a slot's level of risk. High-volatility slots pay out less often but in larger amounts — Nolimit City's San Quentin xWays and Hacksaw Gaming's Wanted Dead or a Wild are examples of this type. Low-volatility slots produce smaller wins more frequently — PG Soft's Lucky Neko (maximum RTP 96.73%) is one example.
Choose a theme based on your own preference — mythology, nature, action, or classic fruit. It is easier to stay focused on a theme you enjoy, so you are less likely to get bored during a long session.
Set your budget in advance. The minimum bet differs from slot to slot — on some, all bonus features remain active even at a very low bet, while on others you cannot qualify for the jackpot without betting the maximum. Check the paytable before you play.
